How to get to Vigan / Sagada / Banaue

To explore North Luzon I used this way.
Manila --> Laoag --> Vigan --> Sagada --> Banaue --> Manila

You may buy SIM at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). I recommend SMART as it covers wide area such as mountain province.
They have signboard like below:

They sell "Tourist SIM" and price is P500.
If you don't use phone call, just ask them "SurfMax299" then the price becomes P300.

If you need to move terminal to terminal at NAIA, you can use shuttle bus. it's free if you have flight.

The closest airport from Vigan is Laoag.
From Laoag airport, you may use Jeepney to "Sinking Belltower" (P40) and use Tricycle to "PARTUS Bus Terminal" (P15).
If you get on Jeepney outside of airport (5mins walk), then Jeepney fare becomes P15.

There are regular buses at PARTAS Bus terminal (30mins each to Baguio or Cubao) Both buses pass Vigan.
Bus fare to Vigan is P129.

If you want to Sta Maria church (La Nuestra Señora de La Asuncion Parish Church), you can get to there by PARTUS bus (P55), or van (P50).
You can get on the bus at PARTAS bus station in Vigan. In return route you can get on just in front of sta. maria church.

From Vigan to Sagada you need to transfer sometimes.
The bus is working 24hours/each 30 mins to Baguio or Cubao. You can choose either of them.
At Vigan PARTUS Bus Terminal you may purchase ticket to "Bitalag" where is T-juction to Sagada (P140).

From T-Junction at Bitalag you may find van to "Cervantes" (P150).
*Note*
The van doesn't leave till he gets 17 passengers.
I was "17th passenger" so I didn't have to wait. It's really up to your luck.

You have to change van at Cervantes. Don't have to look for it since the van is waiting at same place.
Just tell them what "wants to go Sagada". Then they will lead you to van to "Bauko" (P70).

From Bauko, there is no direct transportation to Sagada.
You may choose van to Bontoc.
If you are rushing, ask driver to drop you off at intersection (P35).

There is regular Jeepney from Bontoc to Sagada (P30) (Last one leaves 5PM).
You can wait at the intersection.

FYI, I left Vigan at 6AM and reached to Sagada at 2PM.

From Sagada to Banaue, there is no direct transportation.
You need to transfer at Bontoc.
Regular Jeepney start from 6:30 AM till 1PM to Bontoc (P150).
Some guys tries to stop the Jeepney at Bontoc and says "Get off here if you go to Banaue".
Don't follow them. Their van doesn't leave until the van will be full.

There is regular bus which is called "IMMANUEL TRANS" (P120).
Ask people where the bas station is.

From Banaue to Manila there is 2 company to Manila ("Ohayami" and "Dangwa" ).
I chose Dangwa as the bus has toilet and timetable is better than other for me (Leave 8PM & arrive 6AM).
I recommend to purchase bus ticket prior to you arrive since the bus was full and some people had to sit down on portable chair. The bus fare is P530.

Dangwa bus comes to in front of "Banaue Hotel".

From Dangwa bus station at Manila to Airport, you can choose LRT or National Railway.
I chose National Railway (P10) and it was hell like commuter train at Tokyo.
It might be better to choose LRT but I'm not sure whether it's better than National Railway or not.

You may get off at Nichols station and walk few minute to airport.
Then you will find Jeepney to airport (P8).
